Looking toward 2026:

The Weight and Wonder of it all! We need your prayers more than ever!!

If I were being honest, I would tell you that the weight of the work ahead is a bit overwhelming at times. But, the opportunity for impact is enormous, so your continued prayers are needed now more than ever!

The year 2026 is shaping up to be my biggest yet in my thirty years with East-West:

  • A Season of Stepping Up: Starting next spring, I’ll be temporarily taking on the leadership of the entire Eastern Europe team while our Regional Director takes a sabbatical. This is a huge responsibility, especially since it happens right when all our field teams finalize their strategic plans and budgets for the year ahead. This will also mean quadrupling the number of people reporting to me during that period, so please pray I steward the responsibility well.

  • The Ukraine Trauma Healing Project: Our leadership has embraced my proposal to host a Trauma Healing Conference for Pastors and key leaders in Ukraine. Based on budget and scope, this will be the single largest project for me to tackle in my thirty years at East-West, and it comes at a moment when the need for spiritual and emotional healing is critical. Our leadership has committed a portion of the funding, but PLEASE pray with me for the balance of the resources, and for God’s mighty hand to move to accomplish what we know is over our heads, for His sake and the sake of the Ukrainian church in desperate need.

  • Frontline Outreach: I am also committed to two other pivotal outreach projects in the Balkans in 2026, partnering to engage two targeted Unreached People Groups—an Albanian group and a Bosnian group. So, please join me in prayer for provision and divine guidance of these projects also.

As I enter my thirtieth year with East-West, 2026 will bring the greatest weight of leadership responsibility I’ve ever carried in this role. The budgets and scope are great, but it’s the number of people looking to me, not simply to lead but to serve them. Please pray that I prove to be a faithful steward.
